GCA Participated in the 27th ICG Conference Held in India

The 27th International Congress on Glass (ICG) conference, held this year in India, is one of the most prestigious events in the glass industry.  The theme of the conference, “Glass: A Smart and Indispensable Material for a Sustainable Society” focused on the contributions of glass science and technology in creating a sustainable world.  

During the conference, the "Glass for Women" Committee, operating under the ICG framework, held a special meeting. The meeting addressed issues such as empowering women employees, increasing diversity in the glass industry, and supporting female leadership. During this session, Beyza Kurşunlu Koç, who works as GCA Glass Manufactoring Manager shared the projects of both Gürok and GCA targeting female employees, employment policies, and innovative practices introduced to the sector.
