In 2024, GCA Gained Recognition for Its Achievements in Exports and Quality

As one of the leading companies in the glass packaging industry, GCA has been ranked as the second-largest exporter in its sector in the 2024 Export Champions list announced by the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM). The company also achieved a milestone by earning the highest possible grade, 'AA+,' in the BRCGS audit, becoming the first in Türkiye’s glass packaging industry to receive this certification. 

Since its establishment in 2015, GCA has played a key role in the glass packaging industry, and its success continued in 2024. With strong performance in both production and exports, the company reinforced its global position in the last quarter of the year. In November 2024, GCA was the category sponsor of The Spirits Business Awards in London, showcasing its innovative contributions and sustainability-focused approach to the global industry. 

Recognized for Sustainability and Design 

Throughout 2024, GCA garnered attention for its award-winning achievements. In December, as a gold sponsor of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Conference and Green Dot Awards, GCA won the Green Dot Incentive Award in the “Environmental Social Responsibility Practices” category for its EKOMAT Project. 

In November, GCA was honored at the 11th Crescent and Stars for Packaging Competition, organized by the Packaging Manufacturers Association. The company won a bronze award in the beverage category for its “Kınık Fruit-Flavored Mineral Water Bottle” and a gold award in the food category for its “Kaanlar Olive Jar”. 

Ranked Among Türkiye’s Top Exporters 

With its eco-friendly production model and premium designs, GCA stood out not only for its environmental initiatives but also for its strong economic performance. In July 2024, the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TİM) recognized GCA as the second-largest exporter in the glass packaging sector in its Export Champions list. 

Commitment to the Highest Quality Standards 

GCA further solidified its reputation for excellence in quality and production by achieving the highest international certifications. In August 2024, the company earned an ‘AA+’ certification in the BRCGS audit—the highest possible rating. This milestone made GCA the first company in Türkiye’s glass packaging industry to receive this prestigious certification. 

Continiued to Add Value to the Sector by Hosting Webinars 

GCA remained committed to fostering the development of the glass packaging industry throughout 2024 by organizing webinars that addressed key industry trends and sustainability topics. In May, the “Making a Difference with Design” webinar focused on the impact of packaging design on brand identity and the importance of glass packaging. Afterward, the “It’s Time for Glass Packaging” webinar brought together industry experts to discuss sustainable glass packaging solutions.
