The Glass Packaging Industry In Türkiye Was Revolutionised By GCA, Which Broke New Ground

Qualified to receive the highest grade of 'AA+' certificate by the BRCGS audit

As a result of the unannounced audit that was carried out by the RINA certification organization and Dr. Atila Tunaboylu on July 22-24, 2024, the 'AA+' certificate was bestowed upon GCA, which is considered to be one of the pioneers in the glass packaging industry in Türkiye. Following the receipt of the certificate, which represents the highest possible grade that can be obtained from the BRCGS audit, GCA became the first holder of this certificate in the glass packaging industry in Türkiye.

Ultimately, GCA achieved a first in the Turkish glass packaging industry when it was granted the AA+ certificate, the highest rating that indicates a facility produces goods that adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

In this context, as a result of an unannounced audit conducted by the RINA certification organization and Dr. Atila Tunaboylu on 22-23-24 July 2024, we completed our audit process as the first glass packaging company in Türkiye to be certified in this scope with the highest grade AA+. The BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging Materials, the first standard recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), is a certificate that allows a facility to demonstrate that its products meet food safety and hygiene standards and that its business processes are managed using advanced quality management systems. Consequently, we are the first company in Türkiye that specialises in glass packaging to be awarded this rating of certification.
