GCA Participated in Feve Market and Industrial Committee Meeting

GCA , a member of the European Federation of Glass Packaging Manufacturers (FEVE), participated in the FEVE Market and Industry committee meeting. During the committee meeting held in Brussels on 25 January, the projects and plans to be made in 2018-2019 were discussed.

GCA being one of the leading companies in the glass packaging sector in Turkey, is a member since 2017 of the European Federation of Glass Packaging Manufacturers (FEVE) and attended the FEVE MarketPlace Committee meeting. At the meeting, details and plans of important projects for the glass packaging sector were evaluated.

Headquartered in Brussels, FEVE was established in 1977. In the glass packaging industry FEVE has 60 institutional members residing in the European Union, Switzerland and Turkey, including 20 independent corporate groups. FEVE is a non-for-profit organisation bringing together glass packaging producers from different countries; including ones located in Turkey, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. Under the roof of this international structure, valuable projects are being undertaken that will provide value to the industry.

A CLEAN WORLD WITH FRIENDS of GLASS

One of the most evaluated topics in the FEVE Market and Industry Committee meeting attended by GCA on January 25th was the Friends of Glass project. The Friends of Glass project is a project community that supports all kinds of Works and projects related to glass packaging. The project advocates a lifestyle containing glass and carries out all its work in three main chapters; health, flavor and sustainability. Supported also by Turkish companies, the Friends of Glass Project aims to increase use and recycling of glass packaging for a cleaner environment.
